RECOMMENDATIONS

Operational Control Recommendations:

·      Assign prime operator to be responsible for all shifts with authorization to make decisions concerning waste treatment.

·      Set up and maintain a clean operation log book along the same lines that you are now using except revise to suit your needs.

·      Set up mandatory check times, as required, with specific points to monitor and record, along with comments section for each shift.

·      Monitor rinse water flows to insure that flow into equalization sump does not exceed flow design. High level alarm in equalization sump keeps alarm light continuously illuminated. This may cause another more serious alarm to go unnoticed.

·      Answer alarm conditions immediately and correct as soon as possible.

·      Monitor System

·      Jar Testing

·      Sample Collection
